We have an impressive 17 event rooms accommodating up to 800 delegates and the rooms can be adapted to match your individual needs. This makes us a perfect choice for small meetings or larger conferences and gala dinners. Due to continued expansion we are looking to recruit a full-time Conference & Banqueting Supervisor onto the team.

 

As Assistant Conference & Banqueting Manager you will be required to;

  • Ensure the highest possible standard of Conference/Event presentation, service and management at all time, with strict adherence to accuracy of business sheet details and departmental SOP standards. 
  • Ensure safe practice and good housekeeping is maintained in departmental storerooms and with equipment at all time.
  • Ensure that public areas and function rooms are clean, safe environments at all time.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of room layouts and capacities, banqueting menus and wine lists and the operation and installation of audio-visual equipment.
  • Meet and greet conference organisers at the commencement of and throughout their stay.

 

The successful candidate will have previous similar experience as a Conference & Banqueting Assistant Manager, ideally with additional Hotel experience. You will be able to communicate effectively with other manager, staff and guests as well as excellent leadership skills and customer service skills.
