GLL is looking for Swimming Teachers based at The Queen Diamond Jubilee Leisure , Rugby.

As an experienced Swimming Teacher, you'll thrive on supporting people to achieve their potential. Taking a pupil's nature and needs into account, you'll draw on your knowledge of practices, progression and teaching points - and apply it in the most effective way. Our model involves around team teaching, working together to get the most out of every pupil. Naturally being able to work effectively in a team is vital to ensure that lessons run as effectively as possible meeting the needs of all pupils.

 

We're looking for Swimming Teachers who are approachable, with the friendly, patient nature needed to build people's trust, motivate pupils and encourage with praise. You'll need to be STA 2 Certificate or Swim England Level 2 qualified. You will need knowledge of progressive practices for strokes and skills linked to the Essential and Advanced Swimming Skills. In addition it is desirable to hold the National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers & Coaches. Knowledge of health, safety and other relevant legislation will be vital too, as will an understanding of Child Protection Policy.
