Sutton Day Nursery in Sutton, Surrey is looking for a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team and support our ever growing numbers of children.

 

Sutton Day Nursery, operated by GLL, is a unique and inspiring day nursery with capacity for 75 babies and young children per day. The nursery is situated in Sutton Sports Village which means our babies and children get to experience all that the facility has to offer including use of the dance studios for creative movement, football pitches and professionally catered kitchen.

 

As Nursery Practitioner, you'll assist with providing and overseeing care for all the children in our nursery and ensure your team of nursery staff are supported to provide a high-quality service where children can play, learn, socialise and develop in a friendly and welcoming environment. You'll support the Nursery Manager in maintaining good links with the parents and wider community and forge relationships with parents and families to help support their children's learning and progress.

 

It goes without saying that you're passionate about working with babies and children but you'll also need to be professionally qualified with a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Childcare, understanding of Ofsted regulations and an excellent working knowledge of the EYFS framework and principles. Responsible and well-organised, you'll provide an environment where health and safety is of paramount importance be that from the physical environment and room set up to dietary requirements and allergies.

 

A natural leader, you'll be a good role model to your team, providing a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care to the children under your supervision.
