Summary

Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of passionate team this role as a General Cleaner plays a core part in providing fantastic customer service. 
Nostell is a busy property just outside of Wakefield. The role of General Cleaner is crucial to the visitor welcome experience, here we pride ourselves on being the jewel in Yorkshires crown. As part of the Facilities team, you will love Nostell as much as our staff & visitors do, bringing that passion to the work place, working alongside colleagues to deliver the best customer service, bring your can-do attitude. Within the team there will be the opportunity to work alongside volunteers & increase your understanding about the behind the scenes work the National Trust does to keep these special places for ever, for everyone. 
The contract is 520 hours over 12 months, in peak times there may be a requirement to work more than the average hours.

What it's like to work here

This 18th century Palladian house is set within 300-acres of parkland. The ambitious team are focused on making Nostell Priory one of Yorkshire’s most high profile visitor attractions and are looking for creative hard-working people who will bring ideas and energy to the property. The property is situated a short distance from bustling Wakefield, meaning the property offers a rare opportunity to work in the country, but live in the city.

What you'll be doing

As a General Cleaner, you'll go out of your way for others and you’ll help to make our property an extra special place to visit. You’ll turn your practical hand to all sorts of cleaning, ensuring all our facilities are kept in good working order. You’ll ensure the highest standards of customer service across the property by always implementing a ‘customer comes first’ attitude.
