What it's like to work here

You'll be part of a team that covers the South West primarily working out of the Lanhydrock Hub but with an opportunity for hybrid working. We're looking for someone with a strong administrative skillset, able to turn their hand to whatever comes their way – whether it’s helping an archaeologist with archiving, helping a property with purchasing, or helping to induct new team members, you’ll want to help others and get involved. You’ll have the ability to work with a wide range of team members and different disciplines across the region. As well as supporting day to day operations, you’ll have the chance to support a variety of projects and offer your advice beyond your team. You’ll always champion best practice when it comes to business support, and will be confident challenging the norm when you think there’s a better way of doing something.

  • Relevant experience in a Business Support environment; along with facilities or office supervision responsibility
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Great team player
  • Flexible and customer -focussed with strong customer service skills
  • Able to multi-task and prioritise own workload
  • Well organised and attention to detail
  • Advanced IT Skills

Wherever you’re from, and whatever your background, we want to hear from you – and it doesn’t matter if you’re jam first, cream first, or even if you don’t like scones at all. Everyone is welcome.

Benefits for working at the National Trust include:
