We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Manager to join our Media team where you will  support driving best in industry & award-winning media strategy and overall plan for Asda and George using our media budget effectively across all channels to drive traffic, growth and sales by connecting closely with our customers.

 About the role

• Own the strategic and commercial view of our media strategy, planning & investment with an omnichannel lens ensuring campaigns are efficient, optimised and driving growth & sales for Asda
• Regular input and thought leadership into overall comms strategy.
• Accurate reporting and P&L reporting ensuring accuracy of information.
• Identify media and business innovation by analysing current business performance & monitoring key competitor's use of media & staying current of industry trends
• Key relationship development across all tiers of Spark (media agency) ensuring timely and accurate supply of information into the team and business
• Ensuring we are aware and involved in conversations relating to key changes in retail and media keeping the business informed on competitor landscape and how changes in their investment may be altering strategies and what impact this could have on Asda and George
• Ensuring maximum returns on media investments and measurement tracking 

What you'll need

• Experience leading strategy within the media industry
• Excellent influencing skills at all levels across both internal and external stakeholders
• High numerical accuracy
• Experience of managing external agencies and ability to give strategic media direction
• Strong project management skills and ability to prioritise activities
• Excellent collaboration skills.
