Social Media & Content Executive - Bristol / BS1 4DA

Social Media & Content Executive

What is the purpose of the role?

This role is all about communicating all elements of Turtle Bay in the best way possible, to as many people as possible!

A big part of this is creating engaging digital content that our guests and followers will love. You should have a good eye for photography and videography and know all the tricks of the trade for getting & editing great shots with a phone. You’ll also have a way with words, writing emotive and persuasive copy.

Social is just one part of our marketing picture, and so you’ll work with the wider team to ensure our social output is successfully working alongside all other channels to fill our restaurants with happy guests and meet business needs.

The success of this role is based on building a strong social community by sharing amazing content and engaging with our guests. This in turn will lead to increased brand awareness and drive bookings.

Key Attributes

The right candidate will know social media inside out – you will live and breathe it!

You will be full of energy, have a great sense of humour and be able to think creatively, being inspired by the process of continual improvement. Social media moves fast, so it’s essential you’re on top of trends and aren’t afraid to pivot your plan to try new things.

It’s a fast-paced role so you’ll need to be a self-starter who is highly organised and able to plan ahead and work to deadlines, giving you the space to be agile and reactive when needed.

Above all, you’ll be a people person – our guests, teams and followers will be at the heart of everything you do. You will love telling stories and creating powerful connections, communities and partnerships through our channels. But it’s important you have a keen eye for numbers and an analytical mind, with the ability to use data to review, test and learn.

Above all, you must be passionate about Turtle Bay and be willing to learn about every element that makes us who we are – from the islands that inspire us, to the music that moves us – and all the rum and food in between! This role is the face of the marketing department and a real brand champion.

This role reports directly into the Digital Marketing Manager.
