Administration Assistant – Outpatient Bookings 

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Outpatient Bookings Team as an Administration Assistant at Buckshaw Hospital. ???????

The role

As an Administration Assistant you will be responsible for supporting all booking enquiries, converting them to appointments for initial consultations and admissions. You will provide high levels of customer service when handling enquiries and providing quotes to potential Ramsay patients. Keeping detailed and accurate records to ensure all bookings are managed effectively and within an appropriate time scale. 

This role may involve agile working: providing you with the ability to work at home and within our offices at Rivers Hospital. 

Duties will include but are not limited to:
•    Handle all enquiries and book appointments, whether by telephone, email and postal promptly and efficiently for outpatients (Private and NHS)
•    Provide detailed information to patient enquiries delivering excellent customer service
•    Develop and maintain good working relationships with all internal departments within Rivers Hospital.
•    Maintain clinics and associated admin
•    Build and maintain excellent relationships with consultants and medical secretaries to ensure appointments are converted 
•    Maintain contact with potential patients to ensure they are satisfied with the progress on their enquiry 
•    Liaise with GP Practices regarding referrals

•    Confident communication skills on all levels, via telephone, email and in person

About us: 
Ramsay Health Care UK has a brand new state-of-the-art day surgery & diagnostic facility at Matrix Park, Buckshaw Village in Chorley which provides services for NHS, insured and self pay patients within the local community and further afield. The new facility is an extension of services offered by Fulwood Hall Hospital and Euxton Hall Hospital, which are part of the Ramsay Health Care Group and are located close to the new hospital
The new day surgery hospital will provide care across a range of specialities including breast, gynaecology, general surgery, orthopaedic and urology.  The new facility includes an outpatient department, a day case theatre and purpose built endoscopy and physiotherapy units.  It also provides multi-modality diagnostic services including a static MRI and CT scanner.  In addition, the facility has eighty car parking spaces and eight electric car charging stations.
