Here at Bolton Leisure our goal is to get more people, more active, more often. We provide affordable access to a wide range of sports and leisure facilities to support healthier and happier people across all segments of the local community. To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Duty Manager to join the centre.
As the Duty Manager, the purpose of your role will be to lead, manage and be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the facilities in and around the leisure centre site, working within a demanding commercial environment, ensuring all activities are delivered to a high standard with safety the priority.
You will support, manage, and develop our team of lifeguards and supervisors across the site and build and maintain positive relationships with onsite partners, guests, and neighbours in making sure that our customers receive a positive memorable experience.
We share your passion for leisure, and we will offer a safe, fun, and professional working environment with excellent development opportunities. You will also receive free gym membership and various discounts.
About you
The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who like the members of staff at Bolton, pride and strive to give the best service possible for those who visit the centre and go the extra mile for customers when needed.
To be considered for this role we are looking to hear from candidates who have prior experience and confidence of working face to face with customers, preferably in the Leisure industry.
It is desirable that you hold a National Pool Lifeguard certificate (NPLQ), Pool plant operators’ certificate (where appropriate) and first aid at work certificate, however these are not essential as full training will be provided.
If you feel like you meet the above criteria and want to cut your teeth in a challenging and varied role, please apply today.
