POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the safety and service of guests and Spa members while using the exercise and fitness facilities and programs offered by the Spa.

• Greet and recognize each guest entering the exercise area.
• Volunteer expertise to any and all guests and members reacting to their needs by observing their use of equipment and assisting them as necessary.
• Provide an environment conducive to exercise and demanding of your personal services.
• Keep all equipment properly clean and maintained at all times.
• Promote fitness services through creative and innovative marketing.
• Assist in scheduling services and remain on time with all services provided.
• Keep informed about in-house promotions, group resumes, VIP arrivals and other pertinent information.
• Instruct/recommend fitness programs for individual guest needs
• Perform group fitness classes when needed.
• Be able to provide exceptional customer service
• Be able to open and close the Leisure Club as per business demands including looking after the main reception desk and any duties associated with the desk.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience:

• 1 yrs within similar Hotel environment
• 2yrs working within the Fitness industry

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
• Innovative
• Pro-active and reliable
• Able to work alone and within a team

Education or Certification

• Good level of English essential
• NVQ 3 in Personal training
• NVQ 2 in Exercise to music
