We're seeking an established hands-on Maintenance Manager to be responsible for repairing and maintaining all hotel facilities across the site.

As Maintenance Manager, you’ll become a member of our family who helps us create amazing experiences for our guests through delivering warm hospitality in every interaction. 

Your day to day will involve:

  • Action, manage and maintain all the Hotel maintenance PPM systems
  • Undertake plumbing, painting, decorating, carpentry and minor mechanical and electrical work as necessary across the Hotel, outbuildings and staff accommodation
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant approved codes of practice
  • Manage and assist other in-house engineering staff
  • Prioritise and respond to maintenance requests from hotel departments, ensuring all requests are completed in a timely, cost effective basis and in line with agreed budget
  • Control and organisation of all maintenance related contractors and their equipment when on site. Ensure the correct use of permits to work and safety procedures are carried out
  • Conduct maintenance related training classes regarding safety, security etc
  • Being a key person in relation to Health & Safety in the hotel
  • Assist in the organisation and management of minor capital projects
  • Monitor energy usage within the Hotel
  • Team work

Who are we looking for?  

This is a hands-on role and ideally, you will have proven demonstrable experience in managing maintenance within a similar environment. The role requires having a recognisable electrical or mechanical engineering qualification and you'll be up to date with industry trends.  Having a high level of detail and being very organised is a must for this role. You'll be a positive leader, with the abilty to lead and motivate your team, ensuring excellent levels of service are maintained for our guests.

This is a full time, permanent role and will require flexibility to work 5 days out of 7, with the occassional weekends, bank holidays and emergency call out when necessary.
