Your Role: 

Asda's Technology Strategy & Architecture functionislooking foranexperienced Modern Work Solution Architect to join our growing Architecture Team.You'll be working withinan established teamdeveloping Asda's core platform offering, supporting our business strategy and adoption of brand-new technology. 

This is an incredibly exciting time as our business enters a new phase in its history. A significant investment in the technology and cloud landscape is occurring and you would be part of this unique opportunity to help Asda leapfrog its peers through a new period of technology led design. 

Successful candidates will be authoritative leaders and trusted advisors of architectural design and process in an incredibly fast-paced and delivery focused program. 

About You: 

Strong foundational knowledge of Enterprise IT and operating in the Modern Workplace, improving colleague productivity with cutting edge public cloud offerings. A driven self-starter able to support the entire delivery lifecycle from pre-project and systems analysis, through to operationalisation. Extensive experience of the native M365 stack - specifically Windows, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), InTune, Azure AD, Azure AD DS, Exchange Online, Sharepoint Online, Teams and OneDrive for Business.  Knowledge of collaboration tooling such as Confluence, Jira and ServiceNow as well as core business capabilities such as Enterprise Print and File Sharing. Ability to motivate business enablement to enable enhanced productivity through clear and structured adoption frameworks. Able to pivot focus to work on a varied portfolio, blending design of core collaboration architectures with bespoke retail focused technology solutions aligned to colleague productivityAbility to approach design with timeliness, cost and quality factors in mind.  Risk identification and mitigation, quantification and qualification non-functional and functional requirements. Conform to and develop an evolving infrastructure, cloud and security governance framework with IT focused artifacts such as standards, landscapes and designs. Excellent written skills and the ability to clearly distil complex architectures into consumable documents and views. Knowledge of formal architectural frameworks, ability to follow their practice as well as think outside the box and roll up your sleeves should delivery require.
