Application Service Operations Analyst
 
ASDA Technology is going through a significant transformation as we separate all our technology platforms from our previous owner Walmart. A fantastic opportunity is available for an Applications Service Operations Analyst to join the team as we implement many new applications and services. Reporting to the Applications Service Operations Manager, we need an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, willing to learn new skills in this fast-changing area. Required Skills

  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills
  • Open to working with new technology and application support tools
  • Ability to prioritise workload and ensure deadlines/SLAs are adhered to
  • Confident data handling and statistical reporting skills

 

Desired Experience

  • Experience of working in a technology team
  • Experience of supporting applications and working with internal and external L1 & L2 incident resolution teams
  • Experience of managing tickets and requests for support within a technical team
  • Ability to prioritise your own workload


Responsibility/Accountability

  • Manage the back office and people systems Service Now ticket queues
  • Support incident resolution and problem investigation, including attending major incident support calls where necessary
  • Assist the Application Co-ordinator in governance & administration tasks such as change control creation and management
  • Assist the Application Manager and Co-Ordinator in supplier review meetings to ensure services are optimised to meet changing business needs.
  • Asist the Application Co-Ordinator to manage support documentation standards for technical, systems and functional aspects of applications and systems
  • Assist the Application Co-Ordinator in organising and running back-office team meetings
