Location: THE PIG in the South Downs, Madehurst, West Sussex
Salary: Highly Competitive, Plus Service Charge.
Our Pay Promise – no one in our business will earn less than £10 Per Hour, plus service charge. In the busy months our bar team have earnt up to £500 in service charge per month, whilst Service Charge varies depending on bookings with the staycation concept thriving, you can do the maths.

Our bar team are a bunch who completely embrace the kitchen garden. They are often seen picking aromatic herbs, fruit and veg for their infused concoctions. You will find the results plastered across Instagram!
We are currently looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Bar Manager to lead our bar team.
Our bars at THE PIG are unique! We smash, muddle, blend, shake and throw our way to making our guests the perfect drink. All of our cocktails are designed with the Kitchen Garden in mind. This provides all of the essential ingredients to infuse our Chase Distillery and locally sourced Spirits. Our vodkas are infused by the herbs, flowers and berries from the kitchen garden, bacon is added to our bourbon and caramel to our rum. There is no limit to what we can do and this all comes from the creative minds of our bar team.

The role of Bar Manager is key to our success. A can-do attitude and not being afraid to ‘muck in’ is essential. You will be supporting the effective set up and operation of the bar areas and leading a team of skilled Bartenders and Bar Staff.
You will need to have a proactive attitude towards working on the floor, behind the bar and supporting the entire bar team with their knowledge and development along with a strong knowledge of beverages, from classic cocktails, spirits, beers, and wines. Ideally you will enjoy keeping up with current trends and have a natural creativity when it comes to serving guests.
Previous experience as a Bar Manager, or within a similar role is essential.
