As a Kitchen Porter at Phyllis Court Club, you hold a key role in the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchens. Our kitchens are modern, spacious, and come well equipped. The staff canteen is run directly from the work and organisation of the Kitchen Porters.  This is a great opportunity for a Kitchen Porter who is serious about being part of a team that creates excellent quality experiences for our members and has a strong teamwork ethos.

Working as part of a team to clean and organise the kitchen. Clean and operate the dish machine in a safe and cleanly manner, keeping good hygiene practices to the fore. All surfaces to be kept neat and tidy to minimize any potential safety issues. Clean all dishes, floors and equipment as directed in a sanitary and timely manner. Ensure the staff food provision is monitored and delivered to an acceptable standard. Ability and willingness to learn how to clean all the kitchen equipment with the correct training in a safe and proper manner. Restock items for the chefs as needed throughout the shift. Assist with safe storage of deliveries with proper rotation and detailed temperature records kept. Practice good personnel hygiene at all times to comply with the Club’s policies. Requirements of Kitchen Porter

Passionate about working in hospitality Willing to work in different areas of the kitchen and have good all-round knowledge of a kitchen. Be organised and able to work under pressure. Team player essential with a flexible and adaptable approach to work. Great eye for detail and take pride in a clean and tidy workplace. Good personnel hygiene. Good communication skills.
