National Aquatics Tutor & Project Manager
Based: London & UK Travel
Salary: Up to 38,852
GLL is looking for a National Aquatics Tutor & Project Manager. This role is GLL's National Aquatics Tutor, the face of swimming lessons for our aquatics workforce, and is responsible for managing and delivering key work streams relating to the development and quality of Swimming lesson products and services. Managing training and systems that will enhance the experience of Swimming lesson customers ensuring our Workforce have the relevant qualifications, training and knowledge to deliver exemplary service
Do you have experience training teachers and aquatics professionals? Are you looking to develop and take the step from training swimming teachers to supporting the development of the workforce of the UK's largest provider of swimming lessons? If your answer is yes to either of these questions we have the ideal role for you. We are looking for someone who is looking to apply their skills, learn, develop and enable positive change within our swimming lesson programmes.
The National Aquatics Tutor & Project Manager is the link between our National Aquatics Team and the Learning & Development Team. You will be responsible for planning the calendar of training courses and CPD's and delivering tutor training to upskill our workforce. You will play a pivotal role in the National Aquatics Team, guiding and supporting the Regional Aquatic Hub Managers and leading on lesson product development and guidelines.
You'll be an experienced swimming teacher; you will be full of innovation and ideas to develop lesson planning and delivery. You will have a strong background in quality assurance and compliance. We'll offer in-house training to support you with your role as well development opportunities.
It goes without saying that you'll be a fully qualified Swimming Tutor and Swimming Teacher, holding a Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Swimming (STA or Swim England/Swim Wales/Swim Scotland/Swim Ireland). The role requires you to be familiar with online booking systems, the customer service environment and be computer literate. If you've worked with Course Pro, it would be beneficial but not essential.
