The Club at Mapledurham is home to fantastic golf, health and fitness facilities. Perfect for society or social golf days, the golf club offers a superb 18-hole golf course. Health members enjoy access to a swimming pool, weekly live and online classes, gym and wet spa. The food and beverage area creates a relaxing environment with an outdoor terrace overlooking the golf course. Children can stay and play in the onsite crèche or take part in a range of weekly children’s classes.
We are looking for a very experienced, passionate General Manager to lead this business, an individual who has worked at the premium end of the health and fitness, golf or hospitality sector.
You’ll be responsible for multiple income streams including growing the membership income, increasing the food and beverage spends, so having a strong commercial background is vital. The role requires a decision maker with a successful proven track record in over achieving targets and maximising every opportunity for business growth.
The General Manager needs to be highly visible within the business and must be passionate about delivering the operational standards whilst delighting the customers with exceptional service levels. You must be able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities and possess the ability to influence and coach your team to deliver the standards and service levels consistently.
