The Airport Inn offers an on-site Restaurant & Bar, 9 conference rooms and a Leisure Club and due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit an Events Coordinator on to the team. The ideal candidate will help us spread the word about the Airport Inn Manchester, other hotels and venues within the group along with the amazing deals that we have to offer. We want to get the best out of our Sales team and to achieve this we are looking for an individual who can help co-ordinate their efforts, focus their attention, monitor their output and maximise productivity.
As Conference Events Sales & Administrator, you will be required to;
- Promote and sell the Hotel’s portfolio of Conference and Banqueting
- Chase and generate new sales leads
- Convert business from leads
- Build Relationships and Network effectively
- Assist with external and internal events
- Help set, serve & run events when needed
- Be on hand to assist with guest need throughout their stay
The successful candidate must have previous experience in dealing with weddings and private functions, corporate sales and agents. You will have excellent attention to detail, prioritise their work effectively, work well towards strict deadlines and have excellent numerical and communication skills.
