Decontamination Process Technician - Sterile Services
Stoke Hospital Sterile Services Unit (ST5 7UF) | Permanent | Full Time | Salary up to £20,500 per annum which increases once fully trained. (Fully trained applicants will start on higher rate)
This is a full time position, 37.5 hours per week on a rotational shift, 6:00am till 14:00pm & 12:00pm till 20:00pm Week to week
Please note this is not based at the Clayton Nuffield Hospital.

As a Decontamination Process Technician at our Stoke HSSU, you'll bring a basic standard of general education with proven literacy and numeracy skills. You're organised with good communication skills - and ideally, you're able to show evidence of sterile services training however, full training will be provided.
As a Decontamination Process Technician, you will:
Help to ensure all equipment is in good working order
Regularly check medical equipment for damage and report any faults
Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
Take action to resolve any problems
Escalate issues where necessary
Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with our policies and procedures
Handle manual handling duties up to 13kg.
Have strong attention to detail and an overarching desire to deliver a high quality service.
