In this role, you'll report to the Functional Test Manager and you'll be accountable for delivering testing capabilities to time, cost and quality to ensure business value can be achieved. Through your role you'll develop new working relationships with Asda and our suppliers.

About You

• You'll have previous experience in working closely with 3rd party suppliers, building relationships with the development and business teams in order to provide test feedback and experience managing numerous projects and Stakeholders.
• Ideally you will have knowledge around ETL and Web Service testing as well as using management tools such as JIRA and HPALM.
• Ability and desire to challenge and review work produced by 3rd party suppliers
• Assist the Functional Test Managers in developing testing approaches and plans across numerous projects and programmes
• Provide data for meaningful metrics that define performance and drive continuous improvement
• Provide regular project updates to the Functional Test Manager
• Identify and manage risks through to closure
• Experience of working closely with Development and Engineering teams to develop and improve ways of working, particularly around Agile and CI/CD.
• The ability and experience to rapidly understand complex functionality and architectures on large programmes
• Good understanding and knowledge of testing standards and processes and application of these to 3rd party suppliers
• Good understanding of all different test phases in SDLC
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
