At SSP UK we are now recruiting for a talented Deputy Manager to join our new team at Burger King in Edinburgh Waverley Station when it reopens in August 2022 following a full refurbishment.

We are 'The Food Travel Experts'. We are the leading operator of restaurants, bars, cafes and food courts in travel locations. Established for more than 60 years, our operations feature a mix of food and beverage brands tailored specifically for each location. You will be joining a world-leading food service organisation with superb learning, development and progression opportunities, operating over 400 stores in the UK alone.

Reporting directly to our General Manager, as a Deputy Manager your working week will be varied; from being hands on and leading the team from the front, to assisting the General Manager in recruiting, training and meeting key financial targets.

To be successful in this role you'll need to have:

* Previous experience in coaching and mentoring a diverse team of people in a high-volume, fast-paced, quick service restaurant (or similar) environment.

* Knowledge of the standards and structured processes required to work within a globally recognised brand.

* Previous experience of the financial controls required when running a unit - cost control and P&L reviews.

* A passion for delivering great customer service and exceeding expectations.
