Here at Brunning & Price we have an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Chef to join us as Apprentice, you’ll become part of our friendly close-knit team based at The Old Courthouse in Cheltenham. You’ll receive minimum wage for your age, plus great tips and benefits too.

About Us

Brunning and Price is a collection of individual pub restaurants each with its own style and flavour.  We like to think we run informal places for people who like to meet, eat, drink and talk in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The Role

This exciting opportunity will enable you to gain experience in all areas of the kitchen whilst working towards a Level 2 and/or Level 3 qualification in Professional Cookery.

As an Apprentice Chef, you’ll assist the team in food preparation and production, menu development and food tastings, as well as helping to keep the kitchen clean, tidy and organised.

As our Chef you will work between 30 to 40 hours a week and your college time will be included in these. You will work 5 days per week including some weekends. Your college assessor will come to the pub to support you and you will not be required to go to college on day release.
