General Assistant

Based: Coldharbour Leisure Centre and/or Sutcliffe Park Sports Centre Up to 12.16 per hour

GLL is looking for a General Assistant to join the team at Coldharbour Leisure Centre and Sutcliffe Park in Royal Greenwich. You'll be involved in key aspects of the operational services across all areas of the centre including fitness and sales. If you have the passion to deliver excellent customer service in a leisure environment, there's never been a more exciting time to join us.

 

You'll be the sort of person who thrives in a busy environment and will be unfazed by the variety of the role. You could be doing anything from customer service and taking bookings to ensuring the general safety and cleanliness of areas and equipment to ensure our customers get an exceptional experience.

 

Sutcliffe Park Sports Centre is an adventurous activity centre great for children. We have clip n climb climbing, softplay, skate park, Athletics, Gymnastics and Football. You would be expected to assist in delivering these products. Training given for Climbing, skate park, soft play and the management of the Athletics facilities. Cleaning will be a large part of your daily duties.

 

You need to be calm under pressure, highly responsible and a natural with people from all walks of life. Flexibility, punctuality and reliability are just as important as integrity, a can-do attitude and a real focus on customer service. Passion and personality will stand you in good stead too!

 

A current first aid qualification and sports coaching qualification are desirable, but not required.
