What it's like to work here
CHEFS! Are you tired of having no work-life balance with no weekends off? Of split shifts, late nights and 60 hour weeks? Tired old kitchens and broken equipment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you here at Longshaw, that includes none of the above, and 33 days holiday to match!
Easily commutable from Sheffield, Dronfield, Chesterfield etc., Longshaw is nestled on the edge of the glorious Peak District. Our beautiful brand new, extended cafe opened in March 2021 after significant investment due to increasing visitor numbers. The kitchen team has grown and we're looking to add a Cook to the team.
We work to a centralised core menu, and there is plenty of creative opportunity to develop local dishes, particularly based around the produce from our kitchen garden. We have approx 220 covers, so you should enjoy the buzz of working in a busy kitchen, but with the benefit of knowing we truly look after our people.
