Kitchen Manager - Spinning Jenny @ Glasgow Airport

At SSP UK we now are recruiting for a talented and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our team at the Spinning Jenny, our newest Bar opening soon at Glasgow Airport!

We are the leading operator of restaurants, bars, cafes and food courts in travel locations. Established for more than 60 years, our operations feature a mix of food and beverage brands tailored specifically for each location. You will be joining a world-leading food service organisation with superb learning, development and progression opportunities, operating over 400 stores in the UK alone. 

We are looking for a confident and tenacious Kitchen Manager who can work at pace and is passionate about achieving high standards and excellent customer service within a fast-paced and high volume environment.

You'll be coaching and developing your team of up to 8 to deliver consistently high brand standards and ensure the kitchen is safe and legal to operate. You'll be managing the budgets for the kitchen area so will be experienced in controlling costs for labour, GP and all associated materials and stock to improve profitability.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Kitchen Management experience within a high-volume bar or restaurant or similar branded commercial kitchen environment. 
* Evidence of having motivated and developed your team to deliver excellent levels of customer service and standards, and develop their skills for future progression.
* Commercial acumen and knowledge of the financial controls required when running a kitchen - cost control, stock and labour management, GP targets and P&L reviews.
