As a Catering Assistant at PGL, you’ll have the option to live on-site at one of our 14 stunning activity centres across the UK, earning up to £273 a week, with your food, utilities and bills covered. You’ll work full time, five days a week, with a typical evening shift ending at 8pm.

We’re currently recruiting new Catering Assistants to join the team in 2022. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from friendly, knowledgeable catering professionals in a fun working environment.

Whether you’re looking for a new career or you already have experience, you’ll be supported every step of the way of your working adventure as a PGL Catering Assistant. You’ll get to develop your skills from the ground floor, from pot wash to food prep. The chances for progression are all dependent on your own ambition. Many of our Chefs started as Catering Assistants before further developing their career.

If you’re enthusiastic, have a willingness to learn, and can deliver high standards of customer service, you’re the person we’re looking for to join us in the kitchen.

Staff Package

In your new role as a Catering Assistant at PGL, you will receive a monthly wage of £1,625. Opting in to our fantastic on-site meals and accommodation packages allow you to benefit even more; as with no further bills to worry about, it’s a fantastic way to save.

Your uniform is provided for you, and we offer a 20% discount to our colleagues in all our on-site stores.

Successful applicants are required to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure, which PGL will pay for. You need to possess the legal right to live and work in the UK to be considered for employment with PGL. * To be eligible for the bonus, you will need to start with PGL before the end of May 2022 and work through until the end of our operating season. You will receive £250 in your first month’s pay after completing your probationary period, and the second £250 payment will be made in your final month’s pay.
