Main Responsibilities:

The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:

• Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.
• Collect and wash pots and pans.
• Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
• Unload food and equipment deliveries.
• Keep the storeroom organised.
• Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.

In addition to keeping the kitchen sparkling clean, kitchen porters can be involved in food preparation.

Person Specification:

Desirable

• Previous experience of working as a cleaner or kitchen porter in a four star hotel and conference venue is valued.

Salary & Contract

• Full Time/Part Time
• £9.18 to £9.50 per hour
• Staff Accommodation available
