ROLE: Assistant Venue Technician

REPORTS TO: Technical Manager, Lafayette

POSITION: Full time with benefits

tvg hospitality is a global entertainment & hospitality operator with offices in the United Kingdom & the United States. Founded by CEO Ben Lovett, serial entrepreneur and a multi-award winning musician, alongside his brother Greg Lovett who joined the team as CFO following many successful years with the Soho House Group.

tvg hospitality currently operates three venues in the United Kingdom with six projects currently in development and under contract in the United States and further new sites in both countries pending.

JOB SUMMARY

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and exciting team responsible for the technical delivery of hundreds of live shows, private events and club nights every year across all our London Venues, Lafayette, Omeara and The Social.

A love of music is essential, the desire to go deep into event production is a must, and a high level of initiative and forward thinking is paramount. With this comes the opportunity to thrive in this dynamic and exciting live music environment.

The right applicant will possess a strong technical knowledge of AV systems. Experience of live music, concert production, club nights and event production is desirable.

Training will be provided where required.

Gigs & Events

  • Assist Venue Technical Managers before, during and after gigs, clubs and events.
  • Oversee artist arrival / load in / set up / soundcheck and performance
  • Ensuring safe working practice across all production spaces

Technical

  • Provide technical assistance across our wide range of London venues
  • Assist the event production teams as needed
  • Deploy equipment for events
  • Execute the set ups and operation of small PA systems / lighting rigs / DJ set ups / screens & projectors

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in a similar technical role
  • Experience working in a live music environment
  • Desirable - Video systems, camera operation, live streaming and video editing
