ABOUT US

Part of the Center Parcs family, Aqua Sana is a unique award-winning spa escape in the heart of the forest. At each of our six locations, our guests can explore up to 25 spa experiences inspired by ancient wellbeing practices from around the world, whilst also taking advantage of our well-renowned beauty and wellness treatments, including everything from full body massages to facials.

APPRENTICE BEAUTY THERAPIST | £10.04 per hour

Practice makes perfect when you’re an Apprentice Beauty Therapist, so we’ll ensure you have every opportunity to grow your skills and thrive in our spa environment. The professional treatments you’ll learn how to deliver will include facials, body, back and scalp massages, as well as body treatments.

The programme will take approximately 15 months to complete and you will blend these learning activities into your normal working hours to enable you to grow your beauty therapy knowledge and deliver a great experience to our guests. And at the end of the period, you’ll attain a Wellbeing and Holistic Level 3 qualification, including a VCTC qualification in Facials and a Level 3 in Body Massage and Anatomy and Physiology.

In-house training will take place throughout the programme, at either Sherwood Forest or Woburn Forest and will require you to stay away from home, on occasion for up to one week at a time, so a driving licence will be required.

Your duties will include:

• Carrying out guest treatments and offering advice on other treatments and retail products available, whilst promoting offers
• Completing health questionnaires prior to treatment and retail prescriptions after treatment
• Assisting guests with their general enquiries about Center Parcs or the Aqua Sana Spa
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance in line with company standards.

ABOUT YOU

Are you a good communicator, who can make people feel comfortable and relaxed while having treatments? Can you work quickly with your hands and stand for long periods of time?

These are the essential requirements to be a great Apprentice Beauty Therapist, but we’ll also need you to demonstrate:

• A strong interest in the beauty industry and to want to have a career as a Beauty Therapist
• The willingness to learn and complete apprenticeship activities
• Passion for providing excellent customer service at all times
• The ability to take initiative and work on your own, as well as in a team environment

A full driving licence will be required due to the requirement to travel for training.
