To succeed in our revenue department, you will be super organised, have a passion for numbers and be able to communicate effectively with other team members and hotel General Managers. It’s an interesting role working towards our revenue strategy and an eye for detail, being quick of the mark and in the know is key.

Purpose of the Role 

To maximise accommodation revenue and profit contribution for Village hotels through daily utilisation of pricing techniques, resulting in over delivery of planned budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily/ tactical and strategic revenue management of a pre-determined number of hotels, utilising in full all systems, sharing best practises within team, and maintaining close relationships with hotels and key stakeholders in Sales and Marketing. 

Some Key Accountabilities 

• Setting up of individual hotel pricing & selling strategies for short/ medium and long term delivery 

• Working with Revenue Management team to ensure pricing strategies keep within best practises and continuously improved 

• Set up price strategies by segment based on keys KPM and criteria 

• Analyse data intakes to spot new trends, new opportunities / risks, and take relevant price actions when deviating from expectations 

• Carrying out accurate room forecasting on weekly/monthly basis 

• Daily monitoring of competitiveness v market 

• Carry out specific or projects as required

• Analytical, commercial acumen and data focused 

• Able to take and monitor calculated risks in conjunction with Revenue Management team to achieve results 

• Communicates openly and clearly both orally and in writing 

• Team player with positive working attitude
