Our Daylesford family is growing, and we are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Account Manager to join our Wholesale team.

Full time contract, Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm. Competitive salary. Based Daylesford Farm, Kingham with regular travel to our London offices and clients facilities.

About the role

As our new Senior Account Manager, you’ll develop new business as well as managing existing accounts. It is essential you have substantial experience working with a national dedicated online grocery retailer or similar, and expert knowledge of their systems and processes. This role will drive the ongoing growth of our food retail presence online.

Main responsibilities

  • Direct account managing our largest online account and additional partners, including Full P&L responsibility
  • Deliver the sales and profit plan for the accounts
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Carrying out regular forecasting of sales
  • Develop a strong understanding of promotions and extensively analyse their success  
  • Dealing with customers day to day, presenting new lines, negotiating costs etc.
  • Ensuring customers accounts are settled on time and dealing with claims and rejections
  • Set budgets and track performance, reporting back with action plans to optimise and deliver the sales plan
  • Introduce, develop and manage additional wholesale partner account to deliver the sales plan to 2024

About you

We’re looking for at least 5 years’ experience as a Senior Account Manager working with a large national online food retailer with a proven track record of sales growth.  Knowledge of other premium food retailers would be advantageous. You’ll need experience within the organic food sector, with an emphasis on meat and produce. You’ll possess exceptional communication and presentation skills along with first class stakeholder management. Excellent numeric and analytical skill are a must.
