We are looking for an Arcade Manager seeking their next exciting challenge to join HB Leisure!

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient day to day running of the site.
  • Through regular inspection ensure that standards are maintained at a high level, where necessary advising the Regional Manager on remedial action or liaising with Park where appropriate.
  • Review takings & machines on a daily basis with particular emphasis on security.  Review the siting of equipment to ensure maximisation of income whilst maintaining good machine housekeeping; making sure all cranes, pushers etc are well stocked.
  • Maintain close liaison with the management team communicating company information/changes in procedure as & when required.
  • Ensure cash collections are carried out accurately & securely.
  • Conduct regular checks of floats, keys, stock & vouchers.
  • Work with Management Team/Head Office/Engineers, ensure that correct stock lines/levels are maintained.
  • Ensure staffing ratios are observed & improved.
  • Monitor staff that report to you, accompanying & reviewing them in the performance of their duties, provide training as required.
  • Ensure documentation submitted by yourself & staff is accurate, complete & submitted on time.
  • Undertake disciplinary action, in accordance with company policy/procedures <u>with prior guidance from Senior Management/HR Manager. </u>
  • Create & encourage a welcoming atmosphere within the arcades.
  • Show no less favourable treatment to any employee or customer of the company on the grounds of race, nationality, ethnic origin, grounds of sex, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, religion or age.
  • Actively discourage harassment of any employee or customer & recognise & respect the needs of those too.

Person Specification:

  • Qualified to GCSE level in Maths & English (or equivalent int. qualification), (ONC/HNC in a related subject - for equivalent int. qualification is desirable). 
  • Experience of managing a team/working in a leisure industry (working in an arcade is desirable).
  • Ability to prioritise workload, strong IT skills & leadership skills, must be able to speak English & have strong people management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, self directed with a high degree of self motivation & attention to detail.
  • Health & Safety knowledge & technical knowledge is an advantage but not essential.
