As Accounts Assistant at our purpose built Head Office, you’ll become a member of our family who supports the wider team to ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

 Your day to day will involve:

• Daily upload and posting of bank transactions
• Recording financial transactions on the accounting system
• To check the accuracy of weekly financial income and expenditure returns relating to Inns and managed houses
• Reconciling declared payment methods – debit/credit cards, deposits and cash and ensuring queries are followed up proactively
• Monthly cash and bank account reconciliations
• Communicate with Inns managers and area business managers to resolve issues and deal with accounting queries
• Ad hoc duties to support the team

Who are we looking for?  

Previous experience in accounting/book keeping would be an advantage but full training could be given for the right individual.

You should be highly organised with excellent time management skills to ensure all priorities are met with excellent attention to detail.

You must have a good working knowledge of Excel and ideally will have used an accounting package previously.  

You should be comfortable working both on your own and within a team and committed to meeting month end deadlines.
