40 Hours per week. 7:30am-4:00pm. Working 1 weekend a month.

£22,500 per annum plus performance bonus and fantastic benefits

The CPU and what we’re looking for

Based at our Central Production Kitchen, we are responsible for the production of the staff meals for all staff working on the estate. We are looking for a chef to join our team, producing fresh meals daily, from soups and salads to main meals. This role would be ideally suited to someone who has worked in a similar role with experience of volume catering but is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining high standards of work as directed by kitchen lead
  • Being flexible, creative, driven
  • Producing meals to the highest standards and catering for special diets and allergies
  • Assist with menu planning using Estate produce and ensuring seasonality
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen and high standards of food safety
  • Supporting senior kitchen team members, training junior kitchen team members

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar operation desirable 
  • Good attention to detail
  • Great time management and self-motivated
  • Passion for food
