What will I be doing?

As a Food and Beverage Director, you are responsible for managing all Food and Beverage operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience. This is a versatile role overseeing outlets and conference and events acuminating in a revenue of £5 million revenue a year. A Food and Beverage Director will also be required to manage, train, and develop team members and work within all budgeted guidelines. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

 

Team Management & Payroll

    Generally provides direction and leadership to:  C&E manager, Outlet Manager, Assistant C&E, Bars and Outlet Managers/Supervisor Energising the teams with inspirational leadership and being a creative forward thinker Responsible for team talent and performance management and recruitment. Full responsibility and managing the F&B departmental Payroll costs, ensuring the forecasts are submitted timely on a monthly basis. Ensuring that F&B Team Members are correctly scheduled according to business levels to ensure Payroll is effectively managers Ensuring the departmental Key Performance Indicators: KPI’s targets are met and shared with the various F&B teams such as: Financial Performance goals; Guest Experience; Team Member Experience; Relevant Quality / Brand / Safety Audits 
F&B Operations Management

    Looking into all avenues of manning efficiency within various F&B outlets and the conference and events department ensuring full maximisation of the workforce Work within budgeted guidelines in relation to Food, Liquor Costs and Payroll Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures Develop menus with other members of Food and Beverage team Accountable for monthly stock takes Incentivise team members to maximize sales and revenue Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated Be environmentally aware Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
