This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at a pivotal point in the strategy and provides a chance to really own the show moving forwards. You'll quickly get to grips with the USPs of this community brand and take the key pillars around entertainment, engagement, reactive conversation and community engagement forwards in new and exciting ways.
This role supports both the digital and venues business with a core focus therefore being on brand alignment and consistency, whilst being able to recognize and capitalise on the varying interests of our venues and digital customers.
Job Description
We are looking for candidates with a passion for social media that reflect the fun and playful brand that is Mecca Bingo. This opportunity will allow for you to take ownership of our Instagram page to build, boost and develop our social channels.
As the Social Media Executive you will be responsible for;
- Collating and delivering innovative and engaging content across digital and social media channels.
- Coordinating the Social Media marketing content calendar to include content, creative and campaign plans to socially support multichannel promotions and initiatives.
- Developing social content and campaigns to support and promote the brands across channels.
- Being the point of contact for supporting retail and digital social media champions and effective management and governance.
- Partnering and collaborating with other departments to ensure proper online messaging and consistency in support and promotion of cross-channel content.
- The customer journey through social media to other parts of the digital journey.
Qualifications
- A degree in marketing, journalism, english or new media or relevant experience.
- Ideally previous experience within a social media role with a strong creative flair.
- Significant knowledge of social media channels, particularly Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and blogging including paid-for channels
- Experience or knowledge of; Microsoft Office, SalesForce Social Hub, Adobe CRM, ShortStack, Google Analytics and Adobe photoshop.
