Breakfast Chef

The position:

We are looking for a Breakfast Chef to join our team at Dundonald Links in Irvine, Ayrshire. Great competitive rate of pay!

This is a permanent position to work variable hours. These hours will be over Saturday and Sunday with the possibility of variable hours during the week. 

Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

Main responsibilities:

The successful Breakfast Chef will

• Assist with the preparation and service of Breakfast during the weekend.
• Assist with the preparation and service of the Pastry section.
• Assist with creating, preparing and cooking a range of desserts and confections.
• Oversee portion control, waste management, food preparation and all procedures.
• Assist the friendly team with the day to day running of the kitchen.
• Be sure that food hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times and that the wider kitchen team follow these procedures.

Requirements:

Experience within a similar environment is preferred. A catering qualification in Level 3 Food Safety is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential and a driving licence and the ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the resort.
