Buyer - The Celtic Manor Resort, Newport

An opportunity has arisen for a Buyer at Celtic Manor Resort.

In this role you will work within an established purchasing department and be instrumental in the purchasing of day to day commodities and have involvement in many of the projects and events that take place  across the resort.

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to source and negotiate prices with suppliers within strict time constraints.

Working closely with the main warehouse, you will maintain and monitor stock levels to satisfy the demands of the various activities across our business.

Ideally you will have previous buying experience in a hospitality or food based environment.

Responsibilities include raising and processing purchase orders , tracking orders through to completion, reconciling  purchase orders and invoices and liaising and working with other departments to meet the demands of the business.

This is a challenging role where meeting 5* service expectations are critical to your and our success.
