As an individual with experience in a similar role or the right aptitude, you will be working within a professional committed team with specific duties that ensures extremely high standards of which is appreciated by our customers. This includes the use of cleaning products and equipment where you will be provided with the correct safety training.

The opportunity

Playing a key part in keeping our Hospital clean which is a big priority for us. Once trained and competent as our Housekeeper you will help us to create a safe and pleasant environment for customers and your peers. We will make sure you have the best training and development opportunities and will be involved in the BICs scheme. Your role will be varied, each day never the same, interacting with a wide range of people that will make your job very interesting. Typical Duties

  • Varied general responsibilities ranging from making beds, cleaning rooms, offices and corridors, staff rooms and bathrooms.

  • Use of tools and equipment such as vacuum cleaners, scrubber dryers and carpet cleaners

  • Supporting clinical staff as required.

  • Following our Health and Safety policies and procedures, ensuring that the location is clean, pleasant and safe for patients.

  • Get the best from our cleaning products

The person

As an individual with experience in a similar role, or the right aptitude you will:

  • Take pride in your work.

  • Be committed and passionate

  • Has good attention to detail

  • Provide general assistance and support as part of a professional team.

  • Care about our customers, so that you can organise your own work and plan your time to make sure cleaning never gets in the way of customer's experience.

  • Have good communication skills with a good basic level of English language, this will come in handy when you are working in a team with your colleagues, and also when you are interacting with our customers.
