About Cambridge Hospital
Our state-of-the-art hospital, is central Cambridge's premium private hospital, boasting an Outstanding CQC score and offer a full range of medical and surgical specialties. With expertise in Cancer care and Cancer surgery, Orthopaedic surgery (including robotic surgery), Neurosurgery, Cardiology as well as specialist Paediatric services. Recently having secured a partnership with the Royal Papworth NHS (National Health Service) Trust we will see growth in our Cardiology services and aim to expand our current speciality in this field.
Backed by the latest diagnostic imaging facilities including wide bore MRI and CT scanning, we offer immediate assessment and expert diagnosis. Hospital facilities include 3 state of the art digital theatres, 32 beds, Surgical Day Case theatre/endoscopy suite, Surgical Day PODs, private consultation rooms, close monitoring units, Chemotherapy suite, on-site registered pharmacy, Diagnostic scanning unit and a Pathology laboratory.
The Opportunity
The primary responsibility of the Self Pay Sales Administrator is to communicate effectively, positively, and professionally with customers in order to facilitate their surgery at Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital. The successful candidate will support the Patient Services Manager in ensuring departmental targets are met.
As a Self-Pay Sales Administrator, you will:
Manage outbound Self-pay quotations, via phone and email from potential patients who are seeking advice on medical procedures and treatments available at our hospital
Dealing with 'self pay' patients, you will provide an overview of pricing options, manage conversion, and play a key role in ensuring that patients are supported with information from their initial inquiries through to consultations and medical procedures
Be responsible for following up quotations sent, managing medical secretary relationships and patient liaison.
The Person
To succeed as a Self-Pay Sales Administrator, you will have:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good interpersonal skills and a good level of IT literacy
Good attention to detail
Proven relevant experience in a similar role
GCSE English and Math or equivalent qualification

Salary - £21,500 per annum

Working Hours - Full Time, 37.5 per week
