As the Events & Group Sales Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of reservations & event sales, focusing on maximising sales with accommodation and M&E revenue opportunities via confirmed bookings and enquiries.

What will I do? 

• Work closely with the wider Sales team and other departments 
• As a Sales team, you will set & deliver pricing strategies 
• Maximise revenue 
• Support the General Manager of the hotel with reporting on rooms & event sales as well as supporting with budgets and forecasting 

• Lead & manage the performance of the Event & Group Sales team within the hotel 
• Possess excellent knowledge of the The QHotels Collection portfolio 
• Ensure customer expectations are met & exceeded 
• Organise and conduct site inspections/show rounds 

Is this the role for me? 

• Previous experience within a sales, account management or business development role in a hotel or food & beverage environment 
• Ideally, you will have proven people management experience in a similar role 
• Will also consider individuals who have operational meeting & events hotel management experience coupled with some sales experience 
• KPI and target driven 
• Ability to multi-task and manage the demands which come with a sales role 

• Able to think outside the box and have ideas on how to maximise opportunities
