High Ropes Site Activity Host - Chessington, Surrey

Hours: Full time & part time, fully flexible. Fixed term contract from March 2022 to November.  Working weekends and bank holidays as required.

About the Role

As an activity host you will complete a number of tasks across the High Ropes business. Working with the Team Leaders to complete daily/weekly and monthly checks of the high ropes course and the cabin and covering areas on admissions, retail/food & beverage counter ensuring daily targets are met. All of the above working areas may be rotated throughout the working day and will include other activities or tasks related to the High Ropes Course.

We have opportunities for over and under 18s. For those over 18 and with a good head for heights you will support the course as an instructor with responsibilities including harness fitting and removal, safety brief of the course, assisting customers through the course and confirmation of participants competence. For those under 18 you will support the course operation as ground crew, including assisting customers with harnesses, landing site maintenance and cabin duties. Must like the outdoors and have the ability to perform physical duties. Ideally you will have previous High Ropes or outdoor activity experience within a similar attraction; however this is not essential, so long as you have the right attitude and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences then training can be provided.

Along with the above it will be the responsibility of the activity host to minimise customer complaints, ensure site safety of Adventurers and staff, and carry other course related tasks.

You must ensure the customer is always at the forefront of your mind to ensure our Guests have a ROARsome experience. You will be an enthusiastic team player and be able to work with other colleagues in a dynamic working environment.
