The Pipe and Glass is a busy, award-winning Michelin star pub with rooms, located in South Dalton, East Yorkshire.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Front of House Manager. This is the ideal opportunity for a hospitality professional looking to progress their career.

The position is full time, approximately 40 hours a week, over daytime, evening and weekend shifts.

 An excellent salary package is available for the right candidate.

Main duties and responsibilities to include:

• Supporting the Restaurant Manager in efficiently managing the daily operations of Front of House.
• To engage and motivate the front of house team.
• Performing all tasks to a consistently high standard.
• Attending training sessions when required and to operate in line with the training received.
• To adhere to all health and safety practises to ensure a safe environment for our team and guests.

Candidate specification

• Previous experience at supervisory/ managerial level
• A passion and enthusiasm for hospitality
• Excellent motivational and engagement skills
• Strong communication and English language skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Smart personal presentation
