Grade / Pay: £18,067 - £18,796 per annum (FTE), plus evening and weekend enhancements)

Location: Smethwick Swimming Centre

Hours: Full Time – 37 hours per week on a 6 week rota pattern (Temp Mat cover)

Sandwell Leisure Trust, a multi award-winning company operates and manages Smethwick Swim Centre. The Centre is now looking to appoint a full time Leisure attendant supporting the Manager to drive and grow this large modern and thriving centre. 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

This role is a key position in the organisation requiring drive and enthusiasm and you will need to be flexible and organised with a professional approach in supervising customers using the pools. You will play an important part in the day to day running of the facility, as well as providing excellent customer service.

Applicants must hold RLSS [UK] National Pool Lifeguard Award or STA NARS Lifeguard award or equivalent and must have an understanding of First Aid.

WHAT YOU WILL DO?

In brief you will supervise customers using the swimming pools, handle customer enquiries and the complete appropriate records. As this is largely a customer facing role, it would be beneficial if you have some experience in working with members of the public.

You will ensure a clean and safe environment is maintained at all times and be able to ensure that the building is prepared for all daily activities.
