Self Employed Pub Opportunity - Mold

We are looking for someone with entrepreneurial flair to take the Griffin Inn to the next phase of its success story. You must have strong leadership skills to inspire your team to drive sales.

Excellent hosting skills are crucial, as this is a busy pub with a comprehensive sports offer in the front bar, local sporting teams and a popular dining area, in addition to an extensive garden. You will love running a busy kitchen and serving a fantastic pint, with standards that are second to none.

Local knowledge is a plus but not essential, as you will be at the heart of village life and be proud of the tight-knit community you serve. You will enjoy rallying around your team and community to create great memories and events for families in the neighbourhood. The Griffin is the true hub of the local community.

This pub is the perfect opportunity for you to take charge of a diverse, heart of the village pub. We are looking for the 'host with the most' for Griffin Inn to become a local celebrity. Have you got what it takes? If so, we need you.

The Pub and Location

The Griffin Inn sits in the village of Mynydd Isa in north-east Wales, on the main Mold Road A549 connecting Mold to Buckley, on all main bus routes. Mold is a five-minute drive away, as is Buckley. These two large towns support this popular village pub.

We fully refurbished the pub in 2017 and kept it to an exceptionally high standard. We have since made an additional investment in the kitchen due to the expanding dining covers and the new children's play area. You will enjoy an all-around community pub where you will get to know all the regulars and their families well and become part of daily village life.

The Griffin Inn has a public bar with sports coverage and a large dining room suitable for hosting every occasion. You will find external seating to the front and rear of the business. The beer garden also has a play area for the younger family members.

The pub is dog friendly and situated directly on local walkers' routes. It is also popular with car clubs and is renowned for its local charity work.

The Partnership - Fixed

Ready to run your own business, manage your own team and define your own wage structure? Love working closely with an Operations Manager to build an incredible pub legacy with uncompromising standards and stand out guest experience? Then the Punch Managed Partnership is the perfect option for you.

Alongside tonnes of day to day support and a brilliant framework to grow the business, we provide an uncapped cut of top line turnover to pay yourself and your team in exchange for your Management Company providing the management services at the pub - it's your structure to own, subject to management company costs including, but not limited to, staff costs, minor repairs and maintenance at the pub, security/door staff and insurance. We understand how important it is for a Management Company to completely own their own team.

In our Partnerships, we love pub obsessed entrepreneurs that help us lead the industry. We love to partner with people that help us create pub legacies that stand the test of time and become the hub of their community. We get that every pub has its own distinct character, so your Operations Manager will work closely with you to understand the true identity of your business, we can then help support you amplifying this, it's a partnership after all!
