To take a lead role in ensuring that the food & beverage control function operates efficiently, that stocks are secure and that controls over food & beverage costs operate effectively, in accordance with objectives set by the Assistant Financial Controller and Director of Finance

Your role in our family:

Key responsibilities to your role: 

  • Maintaining a daily food flash, recording all food income, deliveries, and allowances, reporting month to date food gross profit margins to Executive Chef and Assistant Financial Controller
  • Inputting all beverage deliveries and requisitions onto the stocktake software, preparing for a weekly cellar reconciliation, investigating discrepancies
  • Purchase Ledger Duties - Processing food & beverage invoices: matching invoices with delivery notes / purchase orders, code and post invoices onto accounts payable system (Sage 200), supplier statement reconciliations
  • Monitor all food & beverage suppliers and prices, highlighting exceptional increases, updating systems accordingly, ensure all allowances / discounts are accounted for
  • Perform audit spot checks on all outlets, carrying out key line checks
