Website Optimisation Specialist

purpose 
The website optimization specialist is responsible for shaping and optimising the user experience and conversion rate of our digital channels through data analysis, testing and UX patterns. They will support the optimisation and CRO function within the e-commerce team and apply user research techniques and findings in order to rapidly eradicate pain points in user journeys with innovative solutions, test new concepts and proactively implement improvements.

 key responsibilities

Test ideas conception and planning Work with development and digital teams to formulate, ideate and prioritise test ideas. Manage experimentation roadmap Build and maintain a knowledge base of test results, data analytics (results), survey results, etc. Stay ahead on best practices and latest trends in web analytics and conversion rate optimisation tactics Closely working with online marketing and content specialists Support User Researcher with relevant activities

qualifications / skills - required

Analytical and curious mindset Hands-on approach: you like to deep-dive into the data and tooling Self starter Working knowledge of e-commerce analytics methods and platforms (Google Analytics) Basic HTML knowledge Data-driven Experience working within a digital environment Experience with Agile working Good presentation skills Understanding of user design principles

qualifications / skills - nice to have

Knowledge of UI/UX and ability to execute it CSS, Javascript Experience using A/B testing tools (Google Optimize, Optimizely etc.) Knowledge of user research techniques and methodologies Knowledge of hotel/hospitality industry

locations / hours

Voorschoten Support office, or London. This is a full-time position.
