WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR …
As Head of Event Management, you will have a proven ability to
achieve and consistently deliver exceptional results with the ability to
motivate, challenge and engage individuals and teams.
You
will have proven expertise in developing creative solutions to complex and
multi-faceted challenges, excellent collaborative skills and the ability to think
outside the box.
Experience
in an organisation that manages complex and multi-faceted events is essential
with strong knowledge of Meetings,
Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions.
In
addition, you will have confidence and resilience in succeeding to overcome
complex and demanding challenges and situations, an effective strategic
influencer, who is as comfortable doing as they are leading and have strong
organisational and planning skills as well as a logical and considered
decision maker.
WHAT YOU’LL DO …
The
successful candidate will be responsible for
liaising and advising clients on the lead up to the event date, producing
accurate and informative ‘event orders’ that clearly portray the clients requirements
to all departments. Implement and maintain a guest centric
culture that delivers a five star service experience, focusing on exceeding
expectations, winning loyalty and making a difference to our guests and
people
This person must be available throughout the event to ensure all
of the requirements are met and act as a point of contact both for the client
and all hotel departments. The Head of
Event management is responsible for a team of five Event Managers and must work
closely with the Event Operations teams to ensure the seamless delivery of all
events within the Celtic Manor Resort.
