The Club

Bordering the Thames in Fulham and set in 42 acres of magnificent grounds, The Hurlingham Club is a green oasis of tradition and international renown. Recognised throughout the world as one of Britain’s greatest private members’ clubs.

The Department

The Sports Office is responsible for the organisation and promotion of cricket, tennis, padel tennis and real tennis at the Club. Within the Sports Office department, the Pro Shop sells an array of tennis equipment and takes member and guest bookings on to lessons and courts.

Role Arrangements

As Cricket & Sports Office Supervisor you will work shifts on a roster basis, including weekend and evening shifts.

Typical duties will include:

  • Management of the Cricket and Real Tennis section.
  • Assisting in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Sports Office.
  • To ensure the daily programme of activities runs smoothly with the correct staffing in place.
  • To complete opening and closing procedures.
  • To set up courses and sports camps.
  • To supervise the Sports Office team.
  • To manage the shop display.

This role will internally be known as Sports Office Supervisor.

Candidates will have excellent IT and teamwork skills, the ability to work under pressure and experience in a similar environment. You will have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and will demonstrate a keen interest within a busy and fast paced environment.
