As one of the largest courier companies in the UK, our client is looking for enthusiastic, proactive and dedicated Warehouse Operatives to help them make their customers day. The role is to ensure that parcels are appropriately sorted and get to exactly where they need to be. Your role will have a valued and positive impact on helping to achieve this.

Typical responsibilities may include:

• General warehousing duties.
• Loading and unloading parcels.
• Sorting packages in a busy warehouse environment.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace in the warehouse.
• Working safely and accurately at speed and following instructions.
• Dealing with returns and the moving of heavy parcels
• Using a handheld scanner.
• Ensuring that there is no bodily contact with the contents inside the boxes (these may contain alcohol and different types of meat products).

Requirements:

• You will be required to sign in with the client on their paper timesheet with Indeed Flex at the top to avoid any issue with payment, and please make sure to write and sign clearly for everyone to read.
• Smartphone for accessing the app.
• Heavy lifting.
• Hi-Vis and steel-toed safety boots.
• Mandatory mask and face covering, you will be required to leave if not worn correctly.
• Ability to practice social distancing.

Salary: £9.99 per hour

*including Holiday Pay
